Burning Tips

Before lighting your candle, trim your wick to one-quarter inch.

Use scissors or our wick trimmers to reach into your candle jar to trim your wick to 3/8ths inch tall. Trimming your candle wicks will ensure they stay healthy, lightweight, and standing upright, so they do not mushroom over, weigh more, and sink below the melted wax.

Light your candle for enough time for the entire surface of the candle to melt down.

This usually takes about 2-3 hours. Blowing out your candle before the entire surface area of the candle has melted down can cause tunneling in later lightings of your candle.

Never leave your candle unattended or in reach of children or pets.

Place your candle on a steady surface, away from children, pets, or things that can easily be caught on fire. Make sure to blow out your candle before leaving the room!
